A DOODLE DEDICATED TO GRAZIA DELEDDA
Doodles are fun, surprising, and sometimes natural variations of the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists, innovators and scientists. For this reason, the institutional committee – led by the Province of Nuoro – which started a year of celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the birth of Grazia Deledda decided to create a Doodle, in a double graphic version, to remember the great Sardinian writer, the only Italian woman to have won the Nobel Prize for literature. The proposal was sent to Google with the hope of being accepted.
Over time, the demand for doodle internationally has grown. Today the creation of the doodles is the task of a team of talented illustrators (we call it doodlers) and engineers who, even by collecting user proposals, have the aim of reviving the Google home page and making Google users smile throughout the world. world.
THE DOODLE MADE FOR 150 YEARS OF GRACE
The illustration of the doodle of the 150 years of Grazia Deledda, takes up the one used in the previous communication, depicting a Deledda at a young age, and not in the more known representation in adulthood, to underline two aspects: the first is that most of the people still have much to discover about the extraordinary character of Grazia Deledda.
